Clinical Disclaimer

Please read this disclaimer carefully before using our assessment tools or clinical reports. Your health and wellbeing are important, and it is essential that you understand the scope and limitations of what we provide.

What our service IS

  • A validated psychometric screening tool for ADHD symptoms
  • Based on clinically recognised instruments (ASRS-v1.1, BADDS, WURS-25)
  • Developed under the supervision of a registered clinical psychologist
  • Aligned with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
  • A useful starting point for conversations with your healthcare provider

What our service is NOT

  • A formal clinical diagnosis of ADHD or any other condition
  • A substitute for a face-to-face clinical assessment
  • Medical advice, counselling, or treatment
  • A basis for starting or stopping any medication
  • Sufficient for obtaining workplace or educational accommodations

Screening vs. Diagnosis

Our assessment is a screening tool, not a diagnostic assessment. Screening tools are designed to identify individuals who may benefit from further clinical evaluation. A positive screening result indicates that your symptom profile is consistent with ADHD and that a formal assessment by a qualified healthcare professional is recommended.

A formal ADHD diagnosis requires a comprehensive clinical evaluation typically involving a detailed developmental history, collateral information (e.g., from family members), cognitive testing, and consideration of differential diagnoses — none of which can be fully replicated in an online format.

Professional Guidance

If your results suggest elevated ADHD symptoms, we strongly recommend:

  • Speaking with your GP or primary care physician about a referral for formal ADHD assessment
  • Sharing your report with a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist specialising in ADHD
  • Contacting your national ADHD support organisation (e.g., ADDA in the US, ADHD Foundation in the UK)
